Last week, after the voting process, #SmartSet achieved to be one of the sixteen finalists out of 40 participants within the Innovation Radar Prize promoted by the European Commission. The ceremony takes place in Bratislava next September 26th. Brainstorm´s team on behalf of #SmartSet initiative will have to pitch our breakthrough in front of a panel of investors and entrepreneurs in order to get the valuable recognition.

Last Sunday, Brainstorm, on behalf of SmartSet Project, was invited to take part in the Science Communication Event organised by the Communication Unit of the European Commission. The venue for the occasion was the beautiful building of Manchester Town hall. The purpose of the event was mainly to point out the importance of communicating effectively the results of our own research projects and the necessity to address the target audiences correctly adapting the message to each of them. During the session, Brainstorm had the opportunity to share impressions with other participants and take example of such interesting cases of success set out during the presentations.
